Smoke
Black
|
A smoke
is a cat of contrasts. The undercoat should be as pure
white as possible with the tips shading to jet black.
The darkest areas appear on the back, head, and feet,
where the undercoat is absent. The lightest area appear
on the ruff, flanks, ear tufts, and pantaloons where the
undercoat is most profuse.
Cat in repose appears black. In motion, the white undercoat
is clearly apparent.
Points and mask black. Nose leather and paw pads black.
